Privacy Policy

True Blue Training (ABN 28 626 604 573, RTO 45481) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

We may collect your name, date of birth, contact details, Unique Student Identifier (USI), employment and education history, identification documents, and information about your training progress and results. We also collect standard website data such as IP address and pages visited.

Why we collect it

• To assess your eligibility and enrol you in training
• To deliver training and assessment and issue qualifications
• To meet our obligations as an RTO, including reporting to the National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER) and government funding bodies
• To respond to your enquiries and keep you informed about our courses

Who we share it with

We may disclose your information to the Australian Government and state and territory training authorities, NCVER, the USI Registrar, employers (where you are enrolled through your workplace), and service providers who help us run our business. We do not sell your personal information.

As an RTO we are required to provide student data to NCVER. You may receive an NCVER survey or be contacted by a government-endorsed researcher. For more information see the NCVER Privacy Policy at ncver.edu.au.

How we store it

We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure. Student records are held in a secure, password-protected student management system with access limited to authorised staff, and paper records are stored in locked filing at our Bradfield office. Records are kept for the periods required by law, including 30 years for records of qualifications and statements of attainment issued.
